Roku Live TV not functioning

Server Version#:1.18.4.2171
Player Version#: 6.4.10.6174-1475

Roku has difficulty playing LiveTV - when selecting a channel, it shows some buffering, but then never gets any farther. When watching bandwidth usage on Dashboard, there is a quick spike in traffic, and then nothing. Running a packet sniffer shows same…quick request, and then it goes quiet, like there is a request from either side that isn’t being answered.

When attempting on iPad or MacBooks, LiveTV does work (starts up just fine). Also, playing movies on the Roku (pre-recorded/stored on my NAS) work great (fast buffering time, and works perfectly 100% of the time).

The Roku is a brand new Ultra. It’s on my 5G wifi with good bandwidth capacity (as stated above, it works great with streaming movies from the same player). The media server is 18.04 Ubuntu, with SSD drive for TV Program storage (again, works great with other players like iPad/laptops other than Roku). Bandwidth available to the Roku is 100+Mb (when watching video, bandwidth is going 30Mb+ without any buffering or problems).

Settings on Roku - video set at Max H.264 Level (4.1). I also allowed MPEG-2. I believe I can log at the Roku as well (I think I saw a setting to turn that on if needed). Can attach logs to this if required.

The tuner (WinTV-dualHD) works fine - it will record programs without any issue, so don’t think it’s the tuner (and stated live and pre-recorded TV works on iPad 100% of the time).

Had same problems on an Amazon Firestick as well.

Please let me know of anything to try/change, and if logs are needed. I am a systems and network guy for work, so I can do in-depth troubleshooting, but just not an expert at Plex.
Thanks.
Pete
