Nope. No server changes… Transcode is on… hgh qual, max 3 streams, hw accel transcode and encoding enabled.
The only difference that I just thought about now is that I previously had a Denon AVR-S920W between the roku and my TV…, it blew up… Now I have a DENON AVR-S740H filling that role…
I Know its a longshot but might the audio decode differences between AVRs cause this sort of issue?
AVI/XVID encapsulated as MKV was my test set… Worked a little bit ago… Now Plex/Roku just gets to 33% then times out saying the media can’ be played…
Tested the files w/ K-lite codec / VLC and the content plays fine in Media Player and VLC. on my laptop. Media plays fine on roku after using handvrake to re-enc to MPEG-4 / AAC…
My goal was to re-enc to MP4/AAC for my older content anyways so as to reduce the potential for transcoding at all… This just sort of accelerates the agenda is all…
