I’ve had a couple of bugs with the Roku Preview 6.2 & 6.3 series that have persisted and with Roku Preview 6.3 build 6 I had a new one introduced so decided it was time to post.
Plex Server Version 1.15.4.993 (+ Plex Pass)
Roku Preview 6.2 & 6.3
Roku Stick+, Roku Stick, Roku 3, and TCL Roku TV
These all happen in a specific folder type. Other Videos with Plex Video File Scanner and Personal Media Agent. Folder contains misc webm, mp4, mkv, etc files that are in folders to group relevant videos. There are NO episode/season information associated with these at all. Not sure if it matters but sorted by Date Added with only Unplayed showing.
- Since RP 6.2 when I delete a video instead of the previous behavior of the focus going to the item next to the deleted video it goes to the very top or bottom. It goes top or bottom depending on where you last visited with the selection icon. EX if you started from the top it will always go back to the top, if you navigated to the very bottom then go back up it’ll go to the bottom. The video linked below shows this behavior.
- Since RP 6.3 Build 6 when I delete a video it doesn’t visually delete and leave the video like it used too. In the past you deleted an video and it went back to the master list of videos. Now it takes you back to the info of the video which you then have to exit again to get to the master list. Video attached below shows this.
- When a video ends it sometimes take me back to the main video view of that video or sometimes a “Previous” screen showing just that video that I then have to exit. As stated there is no season/episode info about anything in this folder so there are no Previous/Next videos but it seems to think there is. Pic below.
- I think since RP 6.3 a nearly 1 second delay in audio has crept in when starting to play a video from one of these types of folders. I don’t notice it in my TV show folders that have season/episode info. Video buffers and starts playing and then 1 second later audio starts and is in sync. Videos do not transcode but only play original format.
- Not Roku Preview related but wanted to mention it, it seems the locking of files preventing them from being deleted bug has returned in the latest Plex Server Version 1.15.4.993. Videos that have been watched now have a chance of failing to delete.

I don’t have any Plex logs for this right now, I’ll have to look up the process again and can provide them if needed.
