Plex Preview Roku App crashes every time you look at show details

If a TV show or movie was recorded with the DVR, all three of my Roku 3s running the current Plex Preview app going into the details screen cause the Roku app to crash back to the Roku Home screen.

I’ve been having the same problem,with the new Plex Preview. It only happens for shows created by the Plex DVR when Plex creates the directory for the first recorded episode of a show. I’ve found if I move the directory for the show to a drive outside of Plex, delete the show from Plex, Empty Trash and them move the show directory back to my Plex Shows directory, Plex Preview no longer crashes, when a new episode is created.

I’m having pretty much the same problem. Sometimes it doesn’t crash until I hit play, though. Somewhat recent issue with the last couple of builds. I’m on a 4660x.

We’ve create an issue internally and will look into this.

I’ve replicated the issue. It’s related to bad XML being returned with the server version you’re using. We’ve added a fix for the next update, but you should also be able to fix it by updating your server.
