Just to add on to everyone else’s feelings here. I use Plex throughout the entire house for TV shows. Having the “unwatched” section was the best thing possible. Having every single time you go into the interface to adjust the sorting to this is not feasible. I don’t even get why it won’t even save how I have sorted it. That’s a simple addition that can be remediated right away within minutes. But please, somehow read this Plex devs and put back the unwatched feature. I don’t mind the new interface. It takes some getting used to still, but taking away features to be “better” is just dumb. Don’t be dumb.
Our next update will have a better method to remember the unwatched filter, along with the type (shows, episode, collections, etc) and sort chosen. This is per library source, so if you feel that you want your TV shows filtered by unwatched/By Air Date you can, and you movies library can be simply By Release Date.
