We have some features planned which will replace the functionality of the ‘Unplayed’ button.

I so agree plus:
Previously, a sorted list of my choice could be saved, e.g.: UnPlayed, TV Show, by last episode added.

Now, each time I go to TV Shows , I have to sort it - it’s not saved.

As a new feature, why not allow us to add a sorted list to the HUB so it’s there when I enter Plex? Those provided do not suit my needs.

Will this functionality be across all the Plex apps or just Roku?

The WAF score is extremely low for IOS and Roku right now going to the ‘new’ UI.
Even if you aren’t married, we all know that the WAF being low is serious stress for all who know.
(WAF = Wife Approval Factor, but MAF would work too (mother approval factor))

Saying “we have other plans for Unplayed” is not really an answer.
Sure, it addresses the original topic’s specific mention, but, other menu items still take a while to get to versus before the new UI.

Completely and utterly agree. Thought I don’t love it, it’s one thing on a touchscreen where I just have to change my habits. It’s another when the family has to watch where they are moving around on a screen with a remote to ensure they don’t click the wrong thing.

Why did you remove it in the first place? Why do developers release *new and improved" with reduced functionality, only to slowly restore features over time? This seems like a pretty big function that you removed. It is for me at least.

I’m bummed I’m not the only one that had this issue, but glad I’m not alone in my feelings at least. I ONLY use the unwatched feature. It’s the best way to sort new TV shows. This is super annoying to me. I’ve converted the whole house to Roku’s. If they don’t fix this I’m not sure what I’m gonna do.

Been meaning to post about this. Found a quicker way to unplayed…
