Roku vs. Android TV: Different behavior

In most respects, the Plex for Roku UI is the gold standard for Plex apps. But I’ve found one instance where the Android TV (Shield) app does the right thing (IMO), where Plex for Roku does not.

Android TV:

  1. In Music library, set view to All Tracks by Title.
  2. Navigate to any track in the list and click to Play.
  3. Click ‘down’ to see the play queue. Note that the queue shows the library tracks, sorted by Title, as they were displayed before playing.

Roku app:
Following the same steps, the play queue includes the album containing the track you started, rather than the entire library.

In my opinion, the Android TV behavior is the preferred one.
