I have noticed that when I turn on my Plex server, my USB-connected Drobo volumes constantly disconnect. It never happens when I leave Plex turned off. I’ve tried different USB ports, USB cables, and power cycling everything. I even went so far as to unplug all of my other USB peripherals, so it was only my iMac and Drobo drives connected.
Has anyone experienced this issue before? Could this be a problem with Plex and my iMac trying to go to sleep after a certain time interval, and Plex trying to keep the external drives spinning?
