I am attempting to run PMS on my Drobo (of which I have done for 4 years now) and after the recent update it won’t launch. I can install it, and drobo will say it is running but you can’t get to the server. When coming back to the app in the dashboard it will have gone back to “stopped”. Has anyone been able to get PMS to run on their drobo lately? I can access my content through my server on my mac but this is frustrating.
This just happened to me also…I am running it on a 5N2 and suddenly there is just a big red light on the Plex App in the Drobo Dashboard. I tried a reboot, and uninstall and a reinstall and nothing works.
This just happened to me today. I was watching a movie then suddenly it stopped. Have tried restarting both the service and the Drobo. When I go to the apps page Drobo has a red LED icon and it will not start.
How do you roll back to previous version?
I cant even find the previous version avaiulable on website.
Everytime I try to play a movie
“An error occurred loading items to play”
Why?
I just updated my server to Version 1.19.1.2645, and now it will NOT play most media to my phones or cast to my Chromecast enabled devices. These devices did play movies last week, before I updated the server last night. What’s frustrating is that I just converted 60+ of my DVDs, and I tweeked the encoder settings to make sure it would play on all my devices without issue.
Just came across the same issues on my Drobo 5N wich I too have had for a few years now. My Dashboard is on a Mac Mini Server and I just cannot open Plex after reinstalling a new update to latest version of Plex. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times as well as rebooting my Drobo. I’m getting really frustrated with both Plex and drobo for not offering enough support for Mac’s in general. Any help would be much appreciated. The drobo is working for all other installed apps so am somewhat confused.
