Since Mac OS Big sur installation I’m unable to play ALAC files on Plex-web on Safari or Chrome => Error S3016 immediately followed by error s3014
Same files work properly using WebAmp or Plex Player on the same computer
The issue is only with the browser client.
I’ve tried every transcoding option possible to no avail, resulting in the same issue…
Please, try not to disregard this issue as you did with previous similar issues.

Have the same issue after the upgrade to 1.21.1.3766 on 12/16 - pulled down 1.21.1.3830 this morning, no changes. Likewise, it appears to be only an issue on Chrome - plays fine in Firefox.
I liked Firefox last week - this week I like Chrome
Server is Ubuntu 18.4
Also happening for me with some .m4a files (not all). The suggested solutions did not fix the issue.
I am also experiencing this issue in Microsoft Edge (Chromium). I seem to see a lot of unresolved reports of this issue in this forum…
