Error Code: s3015 (Media)

Hello. I’ve been getting Error Code: s3015 (Media) with a single file. The movie plays fine in other players. It appears that something is corrupted in the Plex database. I deleted the movie and tried the Plex Dance to see if that would clear it, but that doesn’t work. When I reinstall the movie, it shows up with the “Resume playing” from the exact same time index as before I deleted it and the error repeats.

Any suggestions? Maybe I just need to know how to remove the movie from the Plex database entirely and reinstall it?

I do have that same issue with lots of ALAC files lately

strange thing is : when i use plex/web on my mac (browser tested; edge;safari;chrome) i get the error S3015. when i play the same files on my ipad pro (edge browser, havent used the rest) its working and playing.

is this an issue with the browser or the os (as i’m still running high-sierra).
all of the plex apps (pmp,plexamp) play the files on all devices…

versions: always the latest beta on all devices incl server

I did some more testing:

The ALAC audio tracks are:

  • playing on ios 14.3 using the edge browser.
  • not playing on any other ios 14.3 browsers. all show s3015.
  • not playing on macos (including big sur 11.1) on any browser. all show s3015.

I’ve only got this issue with a single MKV file.

The latest Plex/WEB update (beta) fixed my ALAC Problem. all are now playing again on all browsers.

I updated but still get the error. I have noticed that the file plays on a Smart TV app, but not on browsers. Very strange.
