This seems to be a ongoing issue.. but not fixed still so felt maybe wise to report.
Two actors, one name, causes one actor to have the wrong image used on their movies as plex just uses whoever is the most recent one added.
This is also causing issues with actor filters, as its showing the wrong films.
One example;
Jack O’Connell
Is showing as
Jack O’Connell
Refreshing the metadata of any film either is in, will result in the image just changing to whoever is the most recent jack in a film.
I see James Brown had a short-lived movie career, but after working with John Agar once he changed to The Godfather of Soul…:
