Samsung Smart TV doesn't have subtitle offset?

Hi! I have a Samsung QN65Q60RAFXZA TV and I am trying to run external (.ass) subtitle files, but they need an offset. Reading on Plex’s own site and multiple forums around the Internet, I see lots of people suggesting that the Samsung Plex apps support subtitle offsets, but I don’t have an option for that in my menus? Is there a different menu I don’t know how to pull up? I’m having trouble finding it if so! Also, I assume my TV has Tizen – so I tagged it with that but I wasn’t sure if it actually does because I don’t see that word anywhere on my TV. My TV is updated to the latest version, as is the app, as according to the store.

Server Version#: 4.50.1
Player Version#: 5.6.1

Should be available for 2016+ Tizen UHD models with text based subtitles.
I don’t have such a model at hand… in the clients/apps I’m aware of the option to set/change the offset is available in the on-screen settings during the playback.

Well this is embarrassing. After checking on several different files and not seeing the option, simply restarting the app after I’d added the subtitles made the option appear. In my defense, the subtitles were still playing before, the option was simply not where it I now see it!

Odd, but hey, guess my problem is solved lol.

Aaaand, spoke too soon. The subtitle offset isn’t doing anything. Hm … not sure what to do

I’ve not seen this option on my MU7000 for a long time. It used to be there…
