Subtitles offset

Hi, I need help. I’m new to Plex, so I don’t know how to fix subtitle offset on Samsung smart TV. Plex server is installen on my computer and Plex is installed on TV. Everthing is nice and smooth except fo certain subtitle I can’t find where can I fix subtitle offset while watching movie. Is there even an option to do that in Plex whn watching movies on TV? If not, why is such important feature is left off?
Thanks for answer.

Plex doesn’t have this feature.

And I will ask ‘why?’ Wouldn’t be something realy cool? To have control over sobttitles and can adjust them when needed instead going back to your laptop, correct them, go back to tv and so on.

Think about it

It’s not always possible depending on the player involved. Smart TV’s for one are very poor at handling subtitles at all. Only our new version on LG and newer Samsung TVs even allow direct playing subs without having them transcoded. It is a request we are aware of, there have been many over the years, and something we are interested in adding. Maybe someday.

It’s funny how newer smart TVs have fewer features on Plex.
For example think about Orca’s Plex. Perfect player. Even better than actual Samsung V2 (2018-2019).

MovieFan.Plex, is Roku going to have subtitle offsets.

The hope is that all clients that can, will. I don’t directly know if the Roku is capable.
