Samsung TV Connection Problem

I can get the versions and logs upon request but for now:

I saw the announcement which i presumably a result of the spate of certificate errors the internet is suffering from:

Anyway, the server and TV were already set to that, but we still get the error. This just started within the last two weeks. Plus, this is a UN65RU7300FXZA, which I think is less than two years old, so not an “older” Samsung.

Anyone know what to do? Or is there a fix coming put? Everything seems fully updated. I did put in a new router, an Eero Pro 6, do I need to open any ports? The server is remote, outside the local network of the TV.
