Plex support is ending 2020-09-30 on older smart TV devices

I bought a Hisense ES-A190417-1 smart TV a couple of months ago. Will this model continue to be supported? When the announcement says that ‘support will stop at the end of September’, does this mean I will be able to continue using Plex unsupported or does it mean I will no longer be able to access my Plex server at all. I notice I get updates to the firmware on my TV, does that mean they will be able to upgrade their modem connection?
