Looks like PMS on OSX is at least capable of discovering a Sat>IP server with 4 tuners on the network now. DVR Setup still doesn’t “find” anything when setting up though…

Just to second all of the above; with services like SatIP binary on Linux, plus TVHeadend, support for well documentented protocol such as this would make Plex Live TV significantly more accessible to users with existing hardware / setups.

Also I know Plex Inc. is focusing on the ability to cord cut; however with the supported tuners costing £50-£100 this may be a way to tempt
More people to the package!

SAT>IP is supported by a lot of different devices, from different vendors and would be a real nifty addition to Plex.
I’m always urged to try out Plex DVR but see no reason to get a cable receiver of a specific vendor just to implement TV in plex. Please give us the opportunity to choose a DVR solution of our prefered vendor, do not limit us to one option.
