Save file option (under i.e. Photo’s) is not available for Plex Home user even though I have “Allowed Downloads”
I’m a Plex pass user. Shouldn’t the above feature be available ?
The Save File option has nothing to do with Plex‘s Download feature.
Downloading items is focusing on downloading items TO a Plex client. This feature is supported on the mobile clients (iOS/Android) and the regular desktop app (Plex for Mac/Windows/Linux).
Saving a file from Plex Web is only available to the admin of a server from their own libraries.

Thx. Would saving files to a plex client also work for photo’s stored on a plex server?
From what I remember, the Download feature is only available for music and video libraries.
I’ve found this related feature suggestion.

I have found a work around for downloading photos by using the Plex App.
If you go to a photo, and select the share option, you will be able to share the photo with another app.
Only downside is that you have to do this per photo. Nice feature request would be to select multiple photo’s (is there any way to submit feature request on this forum?).
