Hi All…
I have just added my Photos library to plex and have shared certain folders with family, BUT… When they open the shared folder from their browser, all they can do is to view or slide show the images…!!!
I want them to le to DOWNLOAD images that they want, but I cannot see where this can be done…
Is this at all possible in the latest release of PLEX…??

Only the server owner can download media from a Plex server via the web app.
On mobile devices with the mobile Plex apps, there is a ‘Save’ function that allows photos to be saved on the device. To enable this from your server, you need to edit the User (Users & Sharing, ‘Restrictions’ tab) and enable this setting:
Thank You for that quick response…!!! It’s a shame that we cannot let FAMILY have the capability to download images from an album that we have shared with them.>!!!
