Scan MediaPortal TV-Recording XML ?

Hi,

 

I'm using MediaPortal (http://www.team-mediaportal.com/) to record TV movies. MP saves each TV recording as ".ts" file and adds a XML file (same filename as the movie) with some meta data (see below). I want to access these recordings with the Plex App on my Samsung TV. The Plex server scans the movie files, but it doesn't recognize the XML with the meta data - Plex uses only the filename. 

After reading the forums, I think that I need a new agent, that scans the XML file with the MP meta data. Can you help me, how to code such an agent?

Ok, I am working on this.

But I have some issues with the MP folder structure.

I record using channel/seriesname/series_date.ts format.

I can only get it to work using a single level format like  series - channel/series_date.ts

So if that's ok for you I will share my agent soon, just need to add series poster support without the local media agent.

Since I need to hack that agent to make it support my agent.
