Schedule Backup Database file size 0KB

Dear support

I’m running PMS Version 1.6.1.3722 on FreeNas Corral (within a Docker container), but since support for FreeNas Corral has recently been dropped I find myself now having to Migrate my PMS to FreeNas 11.
In preparation for moving my PMS to FreeNas 11 I have been trying to locate my backed-up database. However, it appears that my scheduled backups (Settings/scheduled tasks) which used to successfully occur every 3 days now appear to be useless. Although the backup files are being created every 3 days and are time stamped with the correct time they report a file size of 0KB.

Is this a known bug with Version 1.6.1.3722?

Furthermore I’ve noticed another option in the settings to download the PMS database (Settings/Help/Download Database) and this successfully allows me to download a zip-file. However, the filename within this zip-file doesn’t resemble a common PMS database filename. I’ve searched but cannot find any details on how to make use of this downloaded database to reinstate a PMS installation.

Please could someone point me to where this feature might be explained?

Thanks in advance.

It’s a pity I couldn’t find it documented anywhere, but I did some testing regarding the downloaded zip-file (Settings/Help/Download Database). It turns out that if you simply rename the unzipped contents of the file to “com.plexapp.plugins.library.db” it is indeed your latest plex database file. I hope this helps someone.

Regarding the Schedule Backup Database file size of 0KB; I’ve now migrated to Freenas 11 and running PMS in a Freenas Jail. I will have to wait a few days to see if this will fix the problem.
