I have scheduled tasks configured to run between 1:00am and 7:00am.
The only task I have configured to run (within the settings options screen) is to backup the database every 3 days.
I also have set the option to generate video preview thumbnails and chapter thumbnails set to “As a scheduled task and when media is added”
Scheduled maintenance starts at 1:00am as configured and properly backs up and begins generating thumbnails.
However, scheduled tasks ALWAYS run for only 2 hours and stop generating thumbnails at 3:00am instead of running until 7:00am.
Is there a maximum duration for scheduled tasks? I can’t figure out why the scheduled task of thumbnail generation stops after only 2 hours.
I have a huge video collection (over 100TB) and would like to minimize the number of days (weeks? months?) it will take to generate thumbnails.
Running scheduled tasks for only 2 hours per day is taking forever.
Plex Media Server (version 4.108.0) is running on Windows 10, 64-bit.
