This morning is was re arranging my media cabinet and all I did was unplug the Pi for about two minutes and then plugged back in. When I was checking to see if everything got hooked back up properly something strange was happing. The UI and playback was no longer filling the screen and I would say it was short at the bottom. The screen calibration was fine and when I went under System Settings that for some reason was the only options where it would fill the screen out?? My issue sounds identical to this thread a few years ago:

Pulling power without shutting down Rasplex is a good way to corrupt the SD card, suggest flashing a fresh card.

Thanks but wouldn’t I have boot issue or playback issues if that was the case? Everything works fine its just it won’t fill the bottom part of screen. It does fill it out under system info portion though
Not necessarily, depends what’s corrupted. As it was working before pulling the power and it doesn’t now indicates it’s not a Rasplex problem. Nothing to be lost by reflashing.

Thanks Ned…forgive the question that is about to come but I need to sure. I bought with SD card with PI preconfigured with Noobs. After I used that get PI booted up, flashed same card with Rasplex. I assume all I need to do is re flash with Rasplex???
Yep, that will do it, however it’s worth having more than one card, it has been known for the corruption to destroy the card, the new PMP did that to a couple of cards of mine due to their bad app design and implementation (which I did post about in the PMP forum).
