Scrubbing while Recording

Using AppleTV+iOS version there is a Problem:

  1. when trying to scrub while recording. The time jumps and doesn’t seek to the selected time slot in the Frame.
  2. when recording and being asked to watch from “beginning” or “live” and I chose “beginning” the timeline is not extended to the current time of the recording.

When I chose 2). and then want to jump, e.g. commercials, I select 5+7min advance but the video jumps to a completely different time back in the recording. This is undetermined.

Can this pls be investigated as a bug?

+1. This is very frustrating and makes watching any live tv really difficult.

I reported this in 2018 (!) and it still doesn’t work. The Xbox client works fine, while the Apple TV client (old and new video players) both fail.

+1. Same problem here. Have tried changing every setting to fix it but no joy. Only seems to affect the Apple TV.

@Stevenson-Price Any way to get Plex to look into this issue? Seems to be a long standing issue affecting several people.
