Apple TV live seeking not working

Apple TV live seek while recording does not work. Attempting to seek returns me to the beginning of the file or another position near the beginning of the file.

I have the same issue. fast forward/rewind just goes forever and when I stop, it goes back to where I was in the broadcast, or sometimes back to the beginning. Seeking works fine on iOS devices, but not on tvOS.
