SDH subtitles by default

Thanks for your suggestion. There’s already an existing thread discussing an option to prefer either SDH or non-SDH subtitles. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

Allow default choice for SDH\non-SDH subtitles

At the moment, you can choose default subtitles by language, but if you have more than one subtitle file of the same language, it will simply list them in alphabetical order, automatically selecting the first one that way. If you have subtitle files named eng.SDH.srt, this forces the sdh style subtitles to always be chosen by default because they come first alphabetically in the file system (vs. eng.srt) I would like to be able to choose a default so that it will always go to the non-SDH subti…
