First off I would like to say thank you to the Plex Dev team for another awesome feature for Plex,
That said I was wondering if there is plans for a search feature for locating the shows you would like to record?
Also will there be a way to Sort listings by channel or network?
If this is already available just point me in the direction…

When you’re in the program guide, you can search from there to find shows you’d like to record.
You can filter down to Channel by first filtering down to a type (Movies, Shows, News, Sport), then you can filter down to an individual channel. 
Kinda yes. I meant I wanted direct search functionality. But this is an acceptable working solution

I managed to do this once last night but now I can’t seem to recreate the steps to be able to choose an individual channel to view. Would you mind terribly detailing how you got to the point where you had a drop down list of channels to choose from?

Program Guide
Use the “Discover” dropdown to go to “Movies” (for example)
Use the “All” dropdown to select “Channel”
Then you should get a list of channels to choose from.

The global search box at the top lets you search both your library and the program guide if you already know the name of the show you’re interested in, if that’s what you mean?
