Hi. Is there a way to get the server to reindex my movie library to fix search? I noticed recently that when I try to search for a movie, the results are empty or incomplete. For example, if I search for “thor”, it only shows me:
Thor
Thor: The Dark World
but won’t show Thor: Ragnarok, even if I can find Thor: Ragnarok if I browse my movie library. Another example is I search for “indiana”, no results, even though I have all the Indiana Jones movies in my library. Thanks for any help!

Player Version#: Web 4.43.4
Make sure when you are searching you don’t have any filters on. For example, if you have already watched “Thor: Ragnarok”, and if you were searching for unplayed movie “Thor”, I don’t think Plex would find it. I just did that to myself…
Are those “missing” results in the same library (or one that’s in scope of the search)?
Are the additional results showing if you open “Show all results”?
Otherwise I cannot reproduce the described behavior… works fine for me right now using both the hosted and local version of Plex Web (hosted: 4.47.1, local: 4.43.4)
As far as I know no filters running. I just use the search filed at the top of the home screen. Same results with the other Plex players I’ve tried - iOS and tvOS (Apple TV).
Yup, the “missing” results are located in the same library as the ones that show up. No additional results show up either when I open “Show all results”. Really strange, right? Been using Plex for a few years now and it’s the first time I noticed it. AFAIK, I didn’t change anything in my settings either.
