Anyone else having issues where you search for a program that you know is present in the dvr guide but the search returns no results? When searching you get results from all other sources but the dvr guide. I can replicate this in various apps (iOS, firetv etc) as well as the web app.
Yes, it’s working for me. It’s been broken in the past, but it should be fixed now.

Need the server and client versions. Works with Plex for Windows 1.35 and Server version 1.24.3.5033
I am having a similar issue. The problem is limited to searches using the IoS app for me. Unlike the OP, I don’t even get the sub-menu with the tabs.
No problem when I am using other devices like AppleTV or Mac desktop.
By the way OP, if you tap on the Live TV tab you may find the CSI: Miami listing you were looking for.
I’m glad I’m not alone then. I’ve been racking my brains trying to figure it out. I currently have to find the show manually by scrolling the Plex TV guide to tap and set a program to record. Frustrating.
I only have iOS options though so I guess I’m currently screwed.
PMS is on a Synology NAS though, not Windows. So I don’t think it is server related, or at least not totally. It is running the latest public PMS as of this posting date. 1.24.3.5033
We’ll I guess I’m glad it’s not just my device. Still have the same issue but thought I’d post a little more info.
Issue for me seems to be isolated to iOS as the search feature through the web client or a fire stick plex app are working fine.
Currently running:
iOS version 14.8
Plex iOS version 7.23
Plex server version 1.24.3.5033
Plex Team, be really grateful if you could check out this issue we’re experiencing. In short, using the IOS Plex app, when you Search for a program (that you know is in Live-TV), the Top Results don’t find it… so you have to Search then scroll across to Live-TV and search… When recording lots of items, it becomes relaly annoying - so please add Live-TV in the Top Results Search function of the IOS app! thanks v much, Justin
