Search - Multiple Titles Missing

I’ve been able to troubleshoot and find answers to issues I’ve had in the past, but this one has me stumped.

About 2 months ago, myself and other users noticed that some media, when doing a manual search, didn’t come up in the search, but if you look for them on the list, they are there and playable. It doesn’t seem to matter what player. We’ve tried on browers, Roku, Fire and Fire Stick, still same thing, same movies.

Normally this wouldn’t be such a big deal, but I have 10k+ movies/TV shows, so browsing the list can be tedious.

I’ve tried to find something int he forums to match my issue, and really don’t see anything.

I’ve tried:

Restarting server/Plex
Reinstalling current version
Renaming and re-adding offending titles

I’ve stopped short of refreshing meta-data, simply because of the sheer number of “fixed” titles I’ve made that would revert back.

Can you give us an example movie, and screenshots. It might help… With what you’ve said, I can’t recreate on my end, short of trying to search every movie individually, and like you, my Library is extra-large…

This happens to me when I search for Star Wars. I have all of the movies but when I search for Star Wars it’s missing a few like rogue one, episode vii, even though I have them named both with star wars in the title.
