Hello,
It is minor suggerstion but in my opinion is quite annoying. I would like to disable searching history and also leaving text in search field. I think that it is annoying especially if you want to search multiple items. So I suggest to have searching like it was before that nonsence discover stuff. No search history and not leaving text in search field after you search something.
Before this the searching was also much faster and leaving text after search makes search even slower because you have to delete previous search term first.
