Good morrning. Could I offer a friendly suggestion, please?
I have just upgraded my Synology NAS to DSM v7.0.1, but I’ve had to redo absolutely.everything. I’m not really that fussed, and I’m pressing on putting it all back, but thought on reflection, the following would be a good idea for the devs to implement to make it sightly easier for some people.
I’m probably the only peson in the world who does it, but when I buy a season on blu-ray, I type the rear cover’s summary text to a .txt file and save it to the same folder I store the media as Description.txt and copy it to the season’s metadata. Yes, I know Plex sort of downloads the Summary info for a series as a whole, but not the summaries for each season. Would it be possible to add a feature to look for this (or similar) when the metadata is refreshed? I’ve looked in https://support.plex.tv/articles/200220717-local-media-assets-tv-shows/ but while extremely useful, I figured this wasn’t a thing.
