Secondary internal drive permissions issues on CentOS 7

Player Version#: Haven’t gotten this far

First time doing this on Centos. Comp is too old to run Centos 8. I have a fresh install of Plex server. My secondary internal drive mounts under my profile/home folder -> /run/media/JoeBob/Plexmedia. If I want to give Plex access, I have to give it access to my home folder, first. I don’t want to do that. How do I set up this secondary internal drive as accessible to both Plex and me?
Have any ideas or help?
