Hello, I recently setup a Linux server, and before I was manually mounting my drive on boot, and plex could access the file path and all would be well. I decided I wanted to mount the drive to remove a step. So I mounted it to a file path /data on my main drive. Since doing this I have been unable to access that directory and add it to plex. I have read multiple guides on giving perms to the folder to make it accessible, but nothing so far has worked. Would love if someone a little more knowledgeable would help me out with this.
SNAP packages, by design from Ubuntu, are restricted to your home directory.
There’s nothing we can do about that.
Your alternative is to mount the drive somewhere in your home directory where it will have access but I do not know if SNAP will respect what you ask and show you those contents.
