Seeing double scrobbles from Plexamp in Last.fm after latest server update

I never had issues with double scrobbles using Plexamp, but all of a sudden I started seeing it happen about a day ago. It’s correlated with updating the Plex server to the latest version, although I have no idea if that might have an impact.

I did also turn on Sonic Analysis yesterday, although also not sure how that can be related.

Anyone else seeing something similar? Was there any change in the integration with Last.fm?
I tried unlinking and relinking my account from Plex settings.

edit: it’s possible something changed on the last.fm end too. They don’t run the most reliable of sites over there. I’m sure the integration is a pain.

I’m not seeing the same, but is there any chance those were Tidal tracks? I know people have reported some weirdness with Tidal and scrobbling

I don’t use/subscribe to Tidal, so unfortunately that can’t explain it in my case.

I’m not sure then. Perhaps try disabling scrobbling, saving the preference, then re-enabling it? I don’t believe anything’s changed in the server around scrobbling any time recently

I’ve tried unlinking from the Other Services page and relinking again. Is there a place to disable scrobbling other than that? I’m not familiar with a preference I could change and save.

Could this be affected by having multiple Plex apps/pages open on different devices even if only one of them is playing music? e.g. if Plexamp is playing music on my Mac, but I also have the web app open in the browser. I assume not (or it would be a very weird bug if it did).
