OK this seems to be a bug with the server 1.16.5.1554 . not anything wrong with your set up or browser.

I’m going to get this logged but I don’t have an ETA for a fix. for right now you will need to either use the Plex app on your phone or just use your Roku remote.

I’m experiencing the same issue, except I don’t use a smartphone app to do any controlling; therefore my music collection will not cast to my sound system until this issue is resolved. Any idea on a timeline for getting this bug fixed in server 1.16.5.1554?

It is fixed in a version that is in testing but I don’t know exactly when it will get released.

Was on the latest 1-18-0-1846/470522) , but just now reverted to Version 1.15.1.710 that IS WORKING PROPERLY. Will stick to the old working version until …

Correction: Last version used before reverting back was Plex Media Server 1.17.0.1841

the issue appears too be intermittent or something causing it we have not figured out yet. it was not happening anymore to me so i thought it was fixed originally but just a couple days ago it happened on one of my machines but it worked fine after restarting.

Just finished manually updating to the 1944 release (was in a never ending loop trying the updating way within the program).

Everything is working !!! For now…

YES - it still is an intermittent problem / was working then it stopped - disconnecting when trying to use the desktop PLEX program. Hoping that someday it will be remedied. But for now - INTERMITTENT.

I have been unable to find 1.15.xxxxx, where can I download this. Can someone make it available on a file share somewhere? Have not been able to listen to anything in a while…
