I recently upgraded to DSM 7 for my Synology 916+. I installed the Plex package that was compatible with DSM 7 but wound up having to re-build my library. As I added my TV directory, it put multiple shows in as one show with the highest number of seasons that were part of one show. When I went into the episodes and did a get info, I see multiple files from multiple directories for that show. I decided to completely wipe out my install and try again. I moved all of my shows into a folder outside of my shared structure, then started adding them one by one. The first show added just fine, but the second show’s seasons/episodes got added to the first show in my new library.
I have followed the above directions and ensured that the PlexMediaServer internal account has full control over both the PlexMedia shared folder and the share where my files are being stored. Not sure what to do at this point.
