Is it possible to separate children’s movies and animations from my main plex library? I have many children’s animated movies, but I don’t want to browse through them in my plex library. On the other hand, I would like my children to see the animations and children’s movies in their user library (and maybe remove some of the movies targeting adults in the library for my children’s users.) How can this be achieved? Btw, I have all the childrens movies in a separate folder on my computer. Thanks!
Two options come to my mind:
- Create a separate library for children’s movies
- Create a (home) user for your kids and filter by age rating
The 2. is probably only accessible with a Plex pass. Anyway I favor option 1. This includes putting these movies to a separate folder in your file system.
Yes, this can be done… You say you have the children movies culled from the adult content… Just create a new movie library and only add the folder with the children’s movies… Of course, if you want to do the same thing with children’s TV shows, they will need to be in yet another folder, create a new TV library and add the relevant folder…
