How do I go about making a section of nothing but kids shows? I have a movie and tv section but the wife wants nothing but kids section so she doesn’t have to go searching.

I would make an additional plex user for the kids and then add the kids content to a separate kids library. The kids user then gets only access to the kids library.

But how do I make a separate kids library? All my tv shows go into one folder and all my movies go in another. I’m not finding a way to do a filter when adding another library to say just look for something like a tag or something.

I have done this as well. You need to split up the movies into separate folders on your server and create a new library for only the kid movies. Do the same for TV-Shows as well. Then create a new user that only have access to these librarys and nothing else as Movie-Central suggest.

Ratings
Select which content ratings from movie or TV Libraries you wish to share. For instance, if you choose G, PG as the restriction, then only content that is rated either G or PG will be shared (aside from content you may share via Label; see below).

Labels
You can create arbitrary Labels when editing Library content. When sharing, you can then choose to include a particular Label to have content matching that Label shared.

Like Lisa, Bart won’t be allowed to sync content and he’s definitely only allowed to access certain content ratings. However, Homer does decide that Bart’s allowed to see movies that have had the family-friendly Label applied to them. That way, Homer can specify certain movies that may not match the rating restrictions to still be accessible.
