I have a number of audio series, that I can’t seem to get Plex to list them in order. What is the proper naming convention?
My folder is:
Series Topic
-Series Speaker
–Series audio 1
–Series audio 2
I have tried S01E01 in then title, with no avail. I’ve tried separate folders, and it seems things are showed out of the folder.
My preference is one folder per topic, with subfolders by speaker, and then series.
Thanks,
Rich
The s01e01 notation only applies to tv shows.
With audio books, you can only treat your files like ‘Music’.
With music, there are only 3 levels available for organisation:
Artist / Album / Tracks
So, your '‘Topic’ would be the Artist
And ‘Speaker’ could then be the Album
‘Audio’ is then a track
Audio /
Topic /
Speaker /
1. Artist - Tracktitle.mp3
2. Artist - Tracktitle.mp3
This assumes that your files have no embedded meta tags.
If they do, you will either have to adapt them or erase the tags, so Plex has to work off the folder and file names alone.
