I can't seem to figure out how to add this scanner to PMS in freenas without breaking the jail. I am not getting any specific help from the freenas forums. Would anyone here help provide steps on how to install this scanner? Thanks.

Hi guys, I hope you can help.

I have S-Babs running for my anime and am having some problems with one piece.
I recently added episodes 397-409 but they aren’t showing up in season 13 where they should be, instead they are listed in season 7 as duplicates of other episodes (13-25, or abs 104-116). The numbering is fine, TVDB id file is fine given the previous examples and i’m not sure what’s going on.

See Absolute Series Scanner (ASS) link in my signature. You could create a new library pointing to the same folders and use the “Absolute series scanner” on it, and tell me how if fares against it…
Are you using Hama agent ?

Thanks for the help.

I downloaded the scanner and agent and ran them both. Unfortunately the absolute listing in ASS doesn’t work well with my tv in terms of scrolling.

I loaded Hama into S-BABS and was still having trouble but found some funky meta-data in the files. Deleted that and it all worked out in the end. Thank you for the help.

hi, i moved all my media in new path, but when I do a rescan to discover the new path, all my OAV files are skipped and didn’t update the path.
this is the plex media scanner log, I can’t understand why (I use your scanner S-BABS for this section):

working as designed.
use a naming convention for movies or OAVs supported by a SERIES scanner that supports movies in series libraries (not BABS) or label your movies in properly names flder and the file as s01e01…
