I have a few Chromecast w/ Google TV (4K and HD), plus a Hisense 4K Google TV, and all of them display this behavior.
When I’m looking at a TV show, to select an episode, the screen keeps randomly refreshing/reloading as if it’s getting new data. If I scroll through episodes, or scroll down into extra data, it will just refresh and pop me back up to the top of the screen.
I also see this behavior if I’m browsing my library using Collections. Click on a collection, scroll through episodes/movies, and it will randomly refresh/reload the page. Happens about once every 5-6 seconds, but as often as every second sometimes… Does not happen on the main Library screen.
As noted, it’s not a single device of mine doing it. It doesn’t happen on every screen; I can sit on my library screen for ages and it won’t refresh once. But as soon as I choose a particular collection or a particular TV series and start to scroll through it will start.
This does not happen on my Roku devices, or my iOS devices.
