In short the app screen refreshed when on certain screens such as Collection details. Here is a link (Google Drive) of my screen record of my phone.
This also happens on my Shield Pro. Same exact scenario. Very annoying. I have tried completely clearing storage and cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting customizations, and nothing fixes this.
I can’t reproduce the problem. Are you able to let it sit for a couple of refreshes on one of the Collection details page and then grab the logs? You can learn how to do it here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/201573117-android-android-tv-fire-tv-logs/
Thank you so much for the reply. I enabled network logging and now the refreshing is not happening. I disabled the network logging and the refreshing is still gone. This was on my android phone so i will check my shield and report back.
Shield Pro does not exhibit this anymore either. This has been an issue for a few months. Nothing changed on my end to make this go away with the exception of enabling Network Logging on my Android Phone. Either way glad it is fixed as it was driving me nuts.
I want to point out it was nice to see response from Plex as well. A refreshing change from the past and hope this continues for others.
