Series recording on the same day but 2 different episodes, link together as 1 version

When recording 2 shows of the same name but half an hour away from each other they become one airing, as 2 versions. See screenshot.

The files are different .ts filenames (each at the correct start time), but they become 1 and unable to split. Any ideas on how to show these as seperate entities.

This issue has been ongoing for a while and no fix provided

The way i do it is set up a new library for the soaps (set as TV library and with an agent of Personal Media), doing this prevents any tvdb lookup and just uses the EPG data for the shows

Thanks @paulsalter that looks like a perfect solution for now.

It would be nice if the Plex people added a switch to the “series add”, to seperate on these types of shows that have part 1 and 2 (different start times on the same day) but the same episode numbering. Maybe a future fix, I can’t see it would require a lot of programming.
