Server crash. Plex is down, could not recover by repair

Server Version#: v1.15.0.659-9311f93fd
Platform: WHS 2011
HW: HP Microserver G8

Plex seems to be broken after library update. Log and dump attached.plex_crash.zip (205.8 KB)

  • Shut down Plex
  • Remove one of your network cables or change the configuration of one of the network adapters, so it doesn’t report a functionning gateway anymore
  • verify that drive D: is not “full”, is still in good health (SCANDISK) and folder D:\Plex is fully accessible (read and write permissions)

Hello,

performed all the tasks:

  • shut down (already down)
  • plug out one of 2 interfaces
  • Scandisk D: and double check read only permissions (some files were read only, changed that)

Behavoiur is the same, Plex server could not start up. Logs are the same. Uploaded anyway.
Thanks for help in advance!plex_crash_2.zip (213.7 KB)

Could you please include all the log files?

Included all logs with related version and issue plex_crash_3.zip (4.0 MB)
appearance.

Sorry, it’s missing the plugins logs. In particular the com.plexapp.system.log

Attached. PMS Plugin Logs.zip (460.5 KB)

Have you downloaded a fresh installer .exe and tried to re-install Plex server?

Yes, I did repair function of the same version installer. Didn’t help.

Looked at the dumps. Could you upload all the Plex Crash Uploader log files - crash reporting does not appear to be working. I presume it is not disabled

The crashes appear to be associated with sqlite3
Could you shutdown Plex Media Server and check the databases for corruption as per the database repair article
https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database/

Please do the checks on these 2 db files

d:\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.db

d:\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db

found them

Plex is UP after DB repair. Thanks for support!
