Server Crashes Randomly

I started noticing a problem a few days ago when the server would crash when I tried playing a trailer in the Windows Player, so I told everyone to not play trailers. But since then, I will be direct streaming to a Samsung TV, chromecasting, or doing nothing at all and I will remote in and find the Plex Server app has just stopped and have to restart the app. This is happening almost every hour in the evening when people are direct streaming and transcoding.

Initially I thought it might be the RamDisk that I had set up for transcoding a few weeks ago, but since I’ve disabled all hardware acceleration it seems more stable. Things seemed to be fine until this latest update.

I’ve tried repairing the plex server install, cleaning the database if it was corrupt, changed the transcoder temp back to the SSD, but nothing seems to help.

1.18.8.2468 - updated last night around midnight.
I too have had a random crash today. Using same server version, just updated.
Though one might say ‘single time doesn’t mean issue’, Plex itself has never crashed on me in many years. From quick logs I viewed, it does seem a user was browsing or trying to watch something. Crash happened would have happened 7:30-8pm eastern US, according to an email I got from Tautulli monitoring notifications
2020-03-07 19:50:37 was when my notification went out. I don’t know exactly how often Tautulli checks.
