Server Database Optimize causes strange client affects

Two days ago I optimized the server database. Yesterday while using the client, all the content was lost. A server restart brought the hooks back to the client interface.

Today, I have an entry that shows one season with two episodes. When I select the season icon, Plex plays the second episode rather than showing both available episodes. After exiting the playing episode and selecting the season icon, Plex played the second episode again. I repeated exiting and selecting a couple more times and finally when selecting the season icon, Plex showed the 2 episodes and I was able to select and play the first and second episode.

My first inclination was to otimise the database again. I that a good idea?

BTW, of course I did not do a backup before optimization.

Do you have it enabled in scheduled tasks? ( it should be by default) You can restore a database backup which is easiest IMO

You can also try to repair the database if there is corruption
