Server identification

I am currently running 2 x PMS. One on a Mac and one on a debian linux machine. The former is the old one and the latter will ultimately replace it. However, for a while I have to keep running both.

Each has its own DVR setup and when browsing to either I see 2 each, e.g. What’s on, DVR Schedule, Browse, distinguished by each server’s name. Likewise, the library list identifies each library by the server on which it resides - unless all from the same server, in which case it has no need to and does not label them.

The trouble is on the Apple TVs. each library is identified by the server’s name AND my name (I am the admin on both servers). So it’s utterly pointless displaying the same name in a misguided attempt to identify which server is which. As in the regular Web app client, simply the server name is enough.

Worse though is that in Live TV, the tabs I mentioned above (What’s On etc) are identified in the Apple TV app by my name ONLY. So there’s 2 of each tab, identified by THE SAME NAME. Apart from wishing to NOT have my name plastered all over the screen, it is NOT identifying the servers. There is no way to tell which ‘DVR Schedule’ is which server.

Why is the AppleTV app getting this so wrong? In fact why is it different from the web app? It’s not only annoying, pointlessly showing the same (admin user’s) name for each server, but it utterly fails to do what it is trying to do - identify each tab as to which server it relates to.

I’ve had a look, but can see no configuration options to change this. Is it possible to get the AppleTV actually identifying the servers and without pointlessly attaching my name?
