On my newer Samsung 4K Smart TV, the newly installed player always errors when attempting to play any content. Sometimes its “Server is not powerful enough to convert video” or some other playback error. Won’t play my music files either. However, when I browse to sources on the TV and select the Drobo NAS, then drill down through the folders to my actual content and play it from there, it plays flawlessly. Same thing when I play content directly from my HD HomeRun source. So the issue, in my mind, is the Plex player, but I don’t know which settings are the culprit.
I do not have this issue with Plex on my my Vizio TV. Ideas?

Ok, figured this one out on my own. Set my Trancoder settings to Automatic and viola!, works like a charm, including the music.
