server not found etc..

Hi everyone,

I could really use some advise, I have been a plexpass member for 2 years now and have had this issue most if not all the time and i really want to try and get to the bottom of it.

When i want to watch a program on my android phone it says my conection is not strong enough but i have fibre broadband and im streaming it on the same network (my server is hard wired in)

my other issue is when my family watch films on plex (xbox 360) sometimes it says server cannot be reached, we come straight out of it and load back up and alls well but its just annoying and not sure what to do,

I love plex on the whole and have a fairly large libary (1,500 films)

im not sure how to find or attach logs, i have tried looking for how to but cannot find it.

Hello Matt,

See my signature for a link to our support site with information on obtaining the logs from the Android app and from your server. That error message is sort of generic and does not identify a specific issue. It basically means that it requested something from your server and it took too long to receive a reply. I would need the logs from both the app and server to identify what was requested and why it took too long to get an answer. This could be an issue with the server or with your network.
